Vargini was born in Tanzania, East Africa and trained for a theatrical profession at the Arts Educational Trust School, Tring. Whilst pursuing that chosen career, Vargini also developed her God-given gift and love of portrait painting and began exhibiting successfully in England and Australia.

Her work has been commissioned by 'Abba's', Anni-Frid Synni Lyngstadas, well as other celebrities, appearing on their music and narrative publications. Other published works include numerous books and greeting cards illustrations under her birth name, Virginia Mull. Vargini won her first prestigious art prize at age nine for her entry in the Esso Calendar Competition. Portrait exhibition venues include "The Century Galleries", Henley-on-Thames.

In 2002, a challenging depiction of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ was begun, taking over two years to complete. This graphic oil painting, known as 'The Cost', now tours the country in mostly cathedral settings. It has developed into a multi-media piece known as 'The Cost Experience Exhibition' and has gained strong positive reactions from most of those who have seen the presentation.

Working from a studio on The Old High Street in the Creative Quarter of Folkestone, Kent, Vargini continues to accept portrait and illustration commissions, as well as enquiries for hosting 'The Cost Experience Exhibition.'
